Leadership Team Minutes - July 15, 2020

Telework Procedures

Draft procedures were discussed and revised. The extent of the time available for telework was decided to be 32 hours /pay period with the employee working at least one shift /week in their normal workplace (excluding light duty and other leave situations.) Employees need to report their telework schedule in Outlook and/or Schedule Anywhere. Reporting of daily productivity while teleworking will be reported each pay period to the Supervisor (defined in telework agreement) and could be shared in the monthly PD for each employee.

  • The group discussed and provided feedback regarding the proposed policy changes to SH 611 Unexpected Closure.  Items discussed included a new extended closure pay category and the requirement for employees to check-in during extended closures.
  • Action required:  Kelley Hoffman will send out an updated draft to the group for final review.

The team reviewed the Returning to Work FAQs that were drafted for staff as protocols for coming back after the unexpected closure due to Covid19. Reopening will occur in phases for safety. Measures for cleaning, physical distancing and shift scheduling were discussed.

  • Booksale is coming up. They are replacing some missing vinyl banners to advertise the Booksale.

A discussion took place about whether Metro wanted to pay for wraps to put on vending machines that would have more of a Metro look.

              We decided not to move forward with paying to put wraps on the vending machines.

Maintenance Work Prioritization - Handout

  • MTC provided a chart with examples of situations that would fall into each category (emergency, urgent, rush, routine, and scheduled). 
  • MTC Leadership Team will triage the requests daily and categorize in Maintenance Connection to give each request a priority.
  • This document will be turned into posters and sent to all locations as well as emailed to all staff.
  • Roll out will be January 1, 2020.
