Defined Contribution Plan – 414(h)
The Metropolitan Library Retirement plan is a Defined Contribution plan provided by Empower Retirement Solutions. The plan is a governmental plan is provided for and required of all full-time employees. Employees can either contribute 4% or 6% to the plan. Investment questions should be directed to Marcie Plumbtree ([email protected]). For personal information changes, please contact the Business Office.

The Metropolitan Library System Nationwide 457(b) plan is an employer-sponsored, tax-favored retirement savings account. Also known as a deferred compensation plan. The plan is offered through the Nationwide Retirement Company and is voluntary for full-time MLS employees.
