Canva Help

Canva has a large cataog of free templates, images, and graphics.  To help with systemwide consistency, we are releasing templates that you can edit with your information's specific programs and events. 

General Guidelines

  • Don't have an account?  You can create a free account with your library email address.  You will be on the free account.  You will NOT be asked to add a credit card unless you try to upgrade your account to Pro.
    Do not add any credit card information, you will not be able to be reimbursed.
  • If an element is locked on the template, you cannot change it.  
  • If an element is unlocked, you should use the same styling (font, color, and size) as the default/place holder text.
  • Once you've added text, be sure to adjust the Position to align your text.  Here's a helpful video to walk you through this.  
  • To print a PDF, Click the Share button > Click Download > Under File Type select PDF Print > Click the Download button.
