Candace thanked the United Way Committee and everyone who participated in the United Way Campaign this year. She stated the money raised was less than the goal amount of $22,000, yet it was more than expected. There are still more donations coming in towards our goal. The amount donated so far this year is $18,473.

Candace reported due to the decline of attendance during ‘Open House’ in past years. She has made the decision to take advantage of the Downtown Library Noon Tunes which occurs every Thursday. On December 11th, the Downtown Library will host a holiday musical event during Noon Tunes. There will also be story time taking place as well. Candace has performers lined up for the event and others are being chosen at this time, more information to come.

Staff Recognition invites will go out this week to all staff members. The Staff Recognition Dinner is November 8, 2014 and will be held at the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
