First, congratulations to the staff at Southern Oaks! They have won the drawing held during the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System’s spring/summer Membership Campaign. All libraries were invited to help encourage customers to become Friends’ members. For their efforts, the team at Southern Oaks will be recognized with a delivery of pies from Pie Junkie!

How can we simply explain the difference? Development and Volunteer Services is about developing financial resources beyond tax dollars in order to help our libraries grow. We also develop relationships through volunteers and the community to support our libraries.
