Circulation Forum Minutes - February 04, 2015

Meeting was called to order at 1:30pm.

Julie welcomed those that came to the forum and reminded everyone to share what they learned with the staff at their libraries.

Special Guest – Tim Rogers

Tim greeted all the Forum attendees and reminded everyone about the upcoming Friends of the Library book sale.  He provided a box of bookmarks and asked everyone to take some back to their libraries.

Ad-Team Meeting Minutes - September 17, 2014

Kay reported the ODL report is due October 1st.

Kay stated the Strategic Plan is due June 2015. Kay proposed the idea to the AD-Team of possibly delaying the Strategic Plan’s due date in order for the new director to get the feel of it. The delay is not final at this time. There will be more information to come.

Things seem to be humming right along and yet we are still discovering some aspects that needed closer attention.  Here are some things you should know:

This is our fourth week of the new ILS and we are still learning... I understand things can be frustrating, but realize that each day we are getting that much closer to being in 'full-swing'! Here are some things you should know:

Manager of Library Operations - June 2014

Anne distributed “Permissions for New ILS” sheet and a “Terminology Explanations” list for various roles.  She is working on a permissions book for the various role assignments.  The managers were asked to complete the “Permissions for New ILS” sheet by marking which box staff members should have access to and return the sheet to Anne as soon as possible.  If any other roles are needed the managers are encouraged to contact Anne and she will be happy to add another column.

Anne provided some some information on key differences between our new ILS and the existing system.
