Learning & Development – Safety Training for 4th quarter 

  • Harassment and Discrimination Training completion due Friday, November 17
  • Slips Trips and Falls is the 4th quarter safety training to be completed by December 31
  • New Process to Request Travel and Training -Managers and Directors, we need to gather and collect data on where we currently stand as an organization by November 30, 2017. All requests at this time have been put on “pause” until this data can be collected and the current state of Training and Travel Request has been determined. 

A&P Workgroup 

  • A&P meeting is scheduled for Dec. 4

LRP Workgroup 

  • We will provide a review of the strategic plan to the LRP committee on Jan. 17
  • LRP will next meet on Feb. 19 to review Capitol Projects

RE HVAC Update 

  • On schedule to have the HVAC repair completed for them to open Saturday. 

2% Wage Increase Clarification on Date

  • The Commission approved the Appraisal & Wage/Salary Increase Plan FY 2017-2018 on June 15, 2017. The plan awarded a 2% wage/salary increase to staff with anniversary dates between July 1, 2017, and November 5, 2017, on their anniversary date.  In addition, the plan included a 2% wage/salary increase for staff with performance appraisal dates between November 6, 2017, and June 30, 2018. Effective Monday, November 6, 2017, all remaining staff (appraisal dates between November 6 and June 30) have been awarded a 2% wage/salary increase. This includes any lump sum bonuses for staff at the top of their current pay grade.  The increases/bonuses will be included as part of the November 22nd payroll. 

Online W2 Option will be Available for staff to select via PayCom

MLC Upcoming Meetings 

  • Executive Committee Meetings meet every month a week or two prior to the monthly commission meeting.  Its purpose is to set goals for the Executive Director and make recommendations to the MLC.

Pilot Projects Update 

  • A workgroup will gather the updates on pilot projects to provide for all staff to read.
Site Feedback
