Teacher Walkout Resources (Updated 4/2)

You may be aware that there is a teacher walkout in the state of Oklahoma today (04.02.18), and several school districts are closed. Some schools have also closed tomorrow. A list of school closings is available HERE.

2nd Quarter Safety Training Due June 30th

Learning and Development would like to announce the 2nd quarter online safety training to all staff. The training is required to be completed by June 30, 2018. This training is titled, “Basic First Aid” and can be found in EduBrite.

It’s National Poetry Month! All over the city and in the libraries, people will be celebrating the art of the poem. Finding the full-text of a poem or the life of a poet is easy with the Poetry & Short Story Reference Center. A featured poet and poem means you always have something new to discover.

The Lillian Born Norberg and Mary Lou Atkinson Staff Support Scholarships are offered to full or part-time employees of a public, academic, or special library in Oklahoma in the process of furthering their education.
