2nd Quarter Safety Training Due June 30th

Learning and Development would like to announce the 2nd quarter online safety training to all staff. The training is required to be completed by June 30, 2018. This training is titled, “Basic First Aid” and can be found in EduBrite.

Please note:

  • This must be completed during work time
  • Anticipate 30-50 minutes to complete
  • You will need sound on your electronic device or computer for the videos
  • There is an integrated assessment and each question must be answered correctly
  • There is an icon in the top right corner that looks like a piece of paper and gives written transcripts of each video segment
  • If necessary, you may pause and EduBrite will save your place (bookmark) in the training to pick up where you left off later
  • Again, this must be completed by June 30
  • The “EduBrite Getting Started” guide is also still available to you should you need it
  • Also note: It is NOT a job expectation or duty for any position within the Metropolitan Library System to perform first aid in a first aid situation. The training is being provided to staff as general knowledge and education and it is part of safety requirements by the Public Employees Occupational Safety and Health (PEOSH).

To Access the Course:

  1. Login to EduBrite
  2. Click the “Course Catalog” on the left-hand side or conduct a search from the left-hand side for "Basic First Aid"
  3. Locate the course titled, “Basic First Aid”
  4. Click, “Enroll” and the course will launch
