Homelessness Presentations at Four Metro Locations Start Mar. 27

Staff have the opportunity to attend presentations on homelessness at four library locations starting Mar. 27, presented by the Executive Director of the Homeless Alliance, Mr. Dan Straughan.
There have been multiple requests to have training on how to provide excellent customer service to the homeless population we serve. Metro recently purchased a webinar by Ryan Dowd titled, "Working with Individuals Affected by Homelessness: An Empathy-Driven Approach". The recorded version of the webinar and all of Dowd's resources can be found in EduBrite.
To help staff transform this knowledge, we are excited that Mr. Dan Straughan, Founder/Executive Director of the Homeless Alliance of Oklahoma will be presenting in person at four metro locations. We certainly wish Mr. Straughan could present at more if not all locations. However, we are trying to be mindful of his current duties and other time commitments. If he is not presenting at your location, we invite you to attend one of the events and bring back the information to your location. Subscribe through EduBrite for the "Homeless Alliance Workshop-ILT". Enrollment instructions are available.
