As of February 10, 2016, please follow the guidelines listed below for replacements of ALL Playaway formats (AMPs, VMPs, and TABs)

Before sending an item in for replacement, please check the steps for troubleshooting problems with the Playaway formats. 

Manager of Library Operations Meeting Minutes - January 2014

Playaway Views - When asked for updates regarding the Playaway Views, the managers reported no major concerns.

OLA - OLA Annual Conference will be March 31 through April 2. Denyvetta asked for those attending OLA to submit their registrations to her by March 1.

Other - Budget requests are to be entered by March 10th so Denyvetta and Kay can review, provide feedback and, if necessary, modifications may be made before the April 15th deadline.

Circulation Forum Minutes November 2013

Kay Bauman (LO) stated that the first update on the purchase of a new Integrated Library System was posted on the intranet in June 2012 and that it has been and will continue to be a long and complicated process through the final implementation. As of this meeting, the recommended ILS has not been chosen but is expected to be finalized in the next few days. References from libraries using the different systems are currently being checked and each vendor is undergoing a vetting process. The ILS Task Force recommendation will be taken to the Finance Committee on Monday, November 11 and then to the Commission on November 21. The next step will be negotiations with the chosen vendor.

Manager of Library Operations Meeting Minutes - November 2013

Denyvetta shared with the managers that the Finance Committee approved the administrative recommendation to begin contract negotiations with TLC as the selected vendor for ILS. This recommendation will be forwarded to the Commission at the November 21 meeting. If the contract is approved by the Commission, the implementation may go into effect this time next year.

Ad-Team Meeting Minutes - September 18, 2013

Materials & Outreach – Karen revealed the new Play-A-Way View and its display to the Ad Team. A Play-A-Way View is a preloaded multiple video player available exclusively to libraries. A View weighs only 5.4 ounces and is comparable in size to a GPS navigation device and will hold multiple hours of video content. The first batch of Play-A-Way Views is currently in cataloging; therefore they will make it to shelves within the next week. Karen will be present at the manager’s meeting today to show and discuss the new Play-A-Way device.
