Since we can’t meet in-person right now and the Introduction to E-resources workshop has been put on pause, we’ve created an eResource Mini Series to help you learn more about our databases and stay up-to-date on all our digital resources. In case you missed it, Access Workshops 1, 2, and 3 are still available for enrollment in EduBrite with Supervisor approval!

Don't forget, Access Basics is required to take before the Access Workshop series. You must complete Access Workshop 1 before you can take Access Workshop 2 or 3, and must take Access Workshop 2 before you can take Access Workshop 3. 

2021 Customer Service Empathy Research Report

Empathy Research - Unlike traditional marketing research, empathic research is not concerned with facts about people (such as their weight or the amount of food they eat), but more about their motivations and thoughts. 

This report includes:  

  • results from the leadership team meeting – Six Thinking Hats (March 2020) 
  • results from five virtual Customer Service Forums held for all XChange Members – Six Thinking Hats (February 2021) 
  • overview results from the Training Sustainability Survey (January 2021) 

SIRS Cancellations-Feedback Requested

Collection Development is considering cancelling SIRS Discoverer and SIRS Issues Researcher due to very low usage, high cost-per-use, and duplication of content in other eResources. However, we understand that low or inconsistent usage does not mean it may not have value to staff or be used for a purpose we aren't aware of. If you have experience with these databases and would like to share your feedback on this decision, please fill out this survey by Friday, March 12th
