OverDrive Updates - July 27th, 2017

Staff,

We are excited to share that the following updates will go live on our OverDrive-powered website the week of July 31, 2017:

Good Bye Materials Selection, Hello Collection Development!

On Wednesday, July 26th, Materials Selection will officially become Collection Development, and will be moving from the Downtown Library to the Service Center.

Please route all mail to the Service Center marked for Collection Development OR for the specific person to whom you’re sending the mail.  Our phone numbers will not change.

Kellie Delaney and Greg Bennett, also part of Collection Anywhere, will remain at the Downtown Library, though Kellie will be moving from her current workspace into the Marketing office early in August.

Database Highlight #4: We've got the City for That

How can you build a better world without seeing it first? Take a virtual vacation with this week’s database highlight – A to Z World Travel

Simple Navigation Update

Hello Everyone!

We updated the navigation under About > Committees to be grouped under division with a few stand alone committees.  Committees who no longer meet are now listed under Other Committees.  The links and content will stay the same, they are just organized differently.

Please comment with any questions.

Hello, BoardDocs - Where You Can Find the Commission Packet

The spot where you would normally find the commission packet has changed. Instead of viewing the PDF commission packet files on the intranet or metrolibrary.org, you will now view them on BoardDocs.

You can visit BoardDocs from the intranet commission page where you would normally go under, “About”, “Commission”.
