- BE Voices & Votes up through end of January. Special events planned throughout, including weekend docent tours.
- BI LM Daniel Chesney starts on January 6th
- CH “Kids Cafe” proposal under review – collaboration between library and Regional Food Bank.
- CH neighborhood event – Plaza Calle Dos Cinco and Trail Spur groundbreaking coming on January 15th @ 1:30. It will be a nice amenity for the neighborhood.
- DN ALM2 has been posted; applications being reviewed
- Additional DN shelving on the first floor is being removed to increase seating opportunities and improve sight lines. Collection has been compressed into existing shelving.
- DN computer tables install to begin on January 6th. Final logistics being worked through. IT has a plan to maintain as much computer access as possible during this period, including adding machines to 2nd floor (where they used to be), and utilizing the 1st floor computer lab.
- SO Holiday Shoppe program attended by 116 children and adults.
- WR 100th anniversary celebration tentatively planned for September 2025. Early plan includes a two-hour block party with activities, refreshments, music. Street blocked off (at suggestion of Stockyards Association) in front of library to accommodate.

- Winter Reading starts Wednesday! If you want to add it to your signature, it’s on the downloads page of WR on intranet or I can send you the file.
- Summer Reading planning continues. We will be taking a break from RIF in 2025 while Heather Z., and I figure out a way to do this part sustainably through the Friends going forward. The bonus books received through our Scholastic purchase (that we’d used for RIF) will be used for SR prizes and at outreach events throughout the system.
