Four original works of art by California sculptor Solomon Bassoff, of Faducci Studio, were installed yesterday at Northwest Library.  One of the figures is of “America’s first cowgirl,” Lucille Mulhall.  Mulhall was a well-known rodeo performer who was raised near Mulhall, OK at the turn of the 20th century.  She is seen toting books by four Oklahoma authors—Joy Harjo, S.E. Hinton, Louis L’Amour, and Michael Wallis.   

Here are some statistics showing Sunday door counts at the new open Sunday locations. The traffic at these locations continues to have steady growth every week. Keep in mind, that although the charts on most locations show significant increases after the banners were installed, this can not immediately be attributed to the banners only. Other marketing tactics were used in the preceding weeks, such as social media, newspaper articles, and MLS promo material.

Registration for this year's FOCUS! is now open.  As in the past, you will be asked to select your preferences in sessions and elect to participate in a wellness screening.  This year, everyone who completes a wellness screening (at FOCUS! or the day after) will be presented a $25 gift card at the completion of the screening - that day!
