Guest Speaker – Community Literacy Centers – Liz Willner, the Education Program Coordinator at CLC, talked about our current partnership, how we can support low-literacy adults, shared some writing from students, and discussed the new book that we have in the system.
What worked: Lots of prizes, got them early, it went really smoothly. Everyone liked the tote bags. Oklahoma Violin Ensemble was well received. Communication was good this summer. People enjoyed the newsletter that Zoe created. Felt informed on what was going on.
Winter Reading - Kristin – shared statistics, number of readers and program completions are ahead of last year at this point, social media has been very engaging with lots of posts from the community
