Alfalfa Bill shows are going very well. We have learned that he likes snacks.
The Our World programs this year in November will be classical music of India. We should all do some local marketing in nearby stores, restaurants & markets. Next year’s Our World program will be Tuva throat singers.
Spring Fling programs for 08 will be Ethno Tech Asian Treasure Bag, which will be traditional Asian stories. In 09 it will be zydeco music.
Winter Read-Fest Wrap-Up
Numbers very high, final tally was 2619 . Everybody worked extremely hard to make this the most successful year ever. Anita said maximum capacity for program next year is 3,000. This has been a wonderful year, exceeding last year for system by a fantastic 23%.
Outreach is open to suggestions about gifts next year. Anita wrote a grant to the Friends to share in the cost of program. Will definitely have books and gift cards next year.
