Literacy Referral Service. This program is about to launch. This program came about from a suggestion from Nancy Anthony. We are providing the room, marketing, and volunteers. The goal of this program is not to teach participants how to read, but to connect them with somebody that can help them. The Literacy Council is working towards being more available to the community. Dana emphasized the value of the “community links” link found under the “services” menu on the MLS website.
