SH 610.1 Facility Access Procedures

  1. Building Hours
    1. Libraries
      1. Operating Hours: Regular operating hours are determined on a system wide level and approved by the Commission.
      2. Working Hours: Monday through Saturday buildings will open no earlier than 2 hours before the scheduled time to open that library to the public; Sunday buildings will open at 9:00 am. Monday through Sunday the buildings will close no later than 45 minutes after that library closes to the public.

Recently, I have received several questions about facility access and requests for different access times.  In order to help answer these questions it’s important to better understand a few things.

Julie welcomed attendees and gave a tour of the Northwest Library.
Express Checkout Mistakes: Prevention & Correction

Denise Ryan addressed attendees on the correct procedure for Express Checkout Deposit. She provided everyone a copy of the original Self-Checkout Instruction booklet and also a copy of the New Express Checkout Procedures Instructions. She reminded clerks to send in deposit money even if they accidentally run the deposit report and also to send in the Express Checkout Fund Receipt every day.
