The Alignment Planning Committee approved the Library on [the] Line plan today at the Alignment Committee meeting. This plan was prepared by the Call Center/Virtual Library workgroup.

I sent an email to the Member Services staff a few minutes ago, letting them know that we've released the org charts for each library. The charts provide a visual of who will be filling which positions at which libraries across the system. I'm sharing the rationale for the decisions below and you can see all of the org charts attached to this post.

This week, the Literary Voices committee of the Library Endowment Trust hosted their annual fundraising dinner. Soon, we’ll share our final fundraising results and I want to thank all the staff throughout the system for the marketing support, technology support, coordination of titles and events and the manpower that went into what made it such a success.

**Updated** Web server update
April 21, 2017 - Our web host has has delayed our server update. We are still awaiting to hear the date it will be completed.
April 13, 2017 - Our web host is upgrading our hosting environment next week. We do not expect any downtime, but wanted to let you know of this update. For those who are interested and want to know more, our server has reached its end of life and will go off to server heaven.

The CA Center committee is looking for your input on what types of materials should go to the Collection Anywhere Center and what types of materials should remain in the libraries. Starting today writers can submit their books to Self-e, the library’s independent ebook publisher. Books submitted to Self-e automatically go into our Indie Oklahoma collection and can be read by anyone with a library card. The book then goes on to be reviewed by Library Journal, yes that Library Journal, and could be included in the LJ Select collection. If Library Journal selects a work for LJ Select inclusion, the book will be placed in Biblioboard libraries across the US and Canada.

Thank you to everyone for your input on board book call numbers. When we began cataloging all uncataloged materials, board books were moved into the easy picture section. This created some problems in shelving and finding these books in that collection. When the libraries were asked if it would be helpful for the board books to have a call number of Board instead of Easy so they could be shelved separately from the picture books, the response was overwhelmingly positive.
