Library Usage Summaries

Starting from March 2019, every month Usage Summaries for each of the library branches will be uploaded to the Strategic Planning & Projects SharePoint site.

You can access the site here. There are also now links to the site on the Reports & Statistics page of the intranet (select Library Usage Stats).

The Usage Summaries show high level statistics such as:

Paper and plasticware in supply budgets

For our FY20 budget, and beginning in July 2019, we will be incorporating a change regarding plasticware or paper plates, bowls, and cups for staff use.

Today (April 10th) is #LibraryGivingDay!

April 10th, 2019 is the first ever Library Giving Day, an international fundraising event intended to generate support for public libraries. The Library Endowment Trust is helping raise funds to help build and replenish early readers and board books throughout the system. At 10:30 this morning, we're already at $8,000!

#librarygivingday is April 10th!

On Wednesday, April 10th, the Library Endowment Trust will be focused on raising funds during the inaugural Library Giving Day Campaign. The campaign will take place during National Library Week, April 7-13, and is part of an international movement to stimulate gifts and awareness for public libraries. Funds raised as part of the Trust's participation in the campaign will be used to support collection development - specifically funding costs to replenish and build our collection of early readers and board books throughout the system.
