Library Usage Summaries

Starting from March 2019, every month Usage Summaries for each of the library branches will be uploaded to the Strategic Planning & Projects SharePoint site.

You can access the site here. There are also now links to the site on the Reports & Statistics page of the intranet (select Library Usage Stats).

The Usage Summaries show high level statistics such as:

• Number of customers active in the past 12 months
• Physical Circulation
• Overdrive Circulation
• Programs & Attendance
• Public Computer Sessions
• Library Visits
• New Account Holders

Monthly and Year-to-Date reports are both uploaded. Year-to-Date reports are based on the fiscal year which starts on July 1st. For example, March’s year-to-date report shows data from July 1st, 2018 through March 31st, 2019. Example reports for Downtown are attached.

Monthly usage summaries for the previous month will be available during the second week of each month.

These reports have been created in Tableau. Your Library Manager has access to these reports as well as to additional information within Tableau.
