November is National American Indian Heritage Month! Oklahoma has done much to preserve American Indian culture and customs but, of course, this wasn’t always the case. We are entering that time of year again – the season of giving! As we approach the holidays consider our library members and local non-profits they may utilize regularly. The United Way of Central Oklahoma supports these local organizations.

It’s National Novel Writing Month and libraries across the county are helping connect writers with research, readers, and quiet spaces. Now Metro takes the process two steps further with online writing software and an indie publishing platform. All of our writing resources can be found at Metro Library Writes.
We’ve reached the halfway mark on the calendar for the membership campaign, but there’s still a lot of work to do to reach our goal! We can do it if we work together!
