Update: Magazines are now available in Libby and OverDrive! Check one out for yourself and see how it works. Take a look at the article view available only in Libby. Tap "Read the Article" at the bottom of the page to get a version of an article in your preferred font size and lighting that's easier to read than zooming in.

With the updated Pests in the Library documents we went live with on July 1, 2020, one of the additions was to test the use of using the Charge/Discharge note in CARL.X for potentially pest damaged materials. Based on feedback from the Pests in the Library Workgroup and Access Managers, on Monday, February 1, 2021 we will go live with this feature. Permissions to add and remove these notes have been enabled for Library Managers, Access Managers, Engagement Managers, Access Specialists, and Library Aides.
OKLAHOMA CITY– Renown Black American poet Maya Angelou said, “I always felt, if I could get to a Library, I’ll be OK.” The Metropolitan Library System will celebrate Black History Month with diverse online library programs in the month of February.
Black History Month programs will include an informative dance performance on the history of Hip Hop dance from the R.A.C.E. Dance Collective, a performance by “Spiritually Bold” of the original play “Soldier Girl”, an author visit with Tochi Onyebuchi who wrote the young adult series “Beasts Made of Night” and a new adult science fiction novel, “Riot Baby”, and many more storytimes, author talks and artist demos.
All online programs can be viewed via Facebook with some also available on Instagram or Zoom.
