AARP Tax-Aide and VITA offer free tax assistance throughout Oklahoma County. Due to COVID-19, there are less sites in operation this year, but this year's sites have adapted by offering a variety of in-person, virtual, and drop off services. EPS has created a printable flyer for our customers listing all of the sites offering tax help this tax season in Oklahoma County and in surrounding areas. This tax help document will be revised throughout tax season as needed. If you are aware of any updates or changes, please notify Jessica in EPS and Tim in CIS.
As a friendly reminder, please note that as library employees we are here to provide access to information and resources (forms, tax-help locations, instruction booklets, etc). We are not, however, able to give tax advice or instruct customers on which forms they should use. If customers have any tax questions, they should visit the IRS website, seek guidance from a tax professional, or call one of the AARP or VITA tax help locations.
Thank you for everything you do to support our customers throughout tax season and if you have any questions about this post please reach out to Jessica in EPS.
