On February 1st, we'll debut a new digital collection called BiblioBoard but it is available now for you to explore. BiblioBoard's collection is composed of content from independent publishers and authors as well as local, user-generated content. While the bulk of BiblioBoard's collection is eBooks, it also contains images, audio files, and video files. All content from BiblioBoard is always available and there is no lending limit. We will soon roll out a product called EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) that will allow members to use a single search interface to search our catalog (LS2PAC), our eBook collection from EBSCO, and many of our databases. Read more to learn about EDS.

Metro Library is participating in a worldwide, digital book club! Want to join us? From March 17-March 31, we're taking part in OverDrive's Big Library Read and the book we'll be reading/listening to is American Sniper, "the New York Times #1 bestselling memoir of U.S. Navy Seal Chris Kyle and the source for Clint Eastwood's blockbuster movie which was nominated for six Academy Awards, including best picture." To ensure as many as possible can participate, there will be no wait list for this title as an eBook or audiobook so it is ready to check out right now!

As 2015 came to a close, we didn't quite cross the 1 million checkout mark for our OverDrive collection last year but we did end up with a healthy 991,573 checkouts of our eBooks and audiobooks! Why don't we make a resolution for 2016 to be the year we all resolve to increase our usage of this collection, even if that means starting to use it in the first place?
