TLC Upgrade - Tuesday, May 31, 2022

On Tuesday, May 31 after close of business, TLC will be performing an upgrade to CARL.X, CARL.Connect, and CARL.Discovery.

Here are the main highlights of what you will notice:

• General bug fixes to CARL.X, CARL.Connect, and CARL.Discovery
• Upgrades coming CARL.Connect include a new login screen and dashboard
• Upgrades coming CARL.Discovery include:
  • Page Navigation: Search results will allow users to jump to a specific page or use first, last, next, and previous buttons
  • Search Results: Users can choose to display a different number of search results per page: 10, 25, 50, 100
  • Search Result Improvement: Improved searching with periods, commas, slashes, special characters, and compound long titles

As a reminder, please always contact the IT Helpdesk when you are experiencing problems with CARL.X, CARL.Connect, or CARL.Discovery. We want all the problems sent to the same location so that it’s easier to identify widespread problems. IT can and does put in tickets with TLC when there are problems with these systems.
