TLC Upgrade - Tuesday, February 14

On Tuesday, February 14 after close of business, TLC will be performing an upgrade to CARL.X, CARL.Connect, and CARL.Discovery.

Here are the main highlights of what you will notice:

• General bug fixes to CARL.X, CARL.Connect, and CARL.Discovery
• CARL.X Item Maintenance Item Search will display the entire BID in the search results
• CARL.Connect includes development on marking items Lost and ability to edit fields in User Overview
• Upgrades coming CARL.Discovery include:
  • Saved Lists will show availability in the saved lists instead of having to navigate to another page to see if the item is available.
  • Advanced Search Refinement of performing title “contains” searches.

Please review the attached document to see all changes coming. See the attached instructions on how to clear the cache on the iPads to ensure pulling morning holds works correctly.

As a reminder, please always contact the IT Helpdesk when you are experiencing problems with CARL.X, CARL.Connect, or CARL.Discovery. We want all the problems sent to the same location so that it’s easier to identify widespread problems. IT can and does put in tickets with TLC when there are problems with these systems.
