MyMetrolibrary has released two great new updates to help enhance the user experience.  New updates include:

  1. Enhanced Forums - Under STAFF > FORUMS you will notice that this page now displays differently.  Here you will find all the various forum discussions and an indication of the number of topics under each forum and any new discussions that have been added.  Using the forums is a wonderful way to start or continue communication on a broad range of topics.
  2. Liking - When you have logged into the MyMetrolibrary site you will now have the option to "LIKE" posts that have been made by others.  This feature is similar to the 'like' feature available on other social networking sites such as Facebook.

Like or comment on this post for a chance to win a great prize!  There is only one stipulation, there has to be over 20 likes or comments before we randomly select the winners. 
So, have everyone at your location sign in to like or comment on this post!

Update

I don't know if this always happened, but I noticed how it pulled up my account information and order history when I signed on. Making it more like other social media websites, is go great idea as many people are already familiar with the format.

Updated Forums

I really like the enhancements for the forums. Compared to how they were before, the updated version is easier to read. Thanks for all your hard work!

Hi,

I just want to say thank you for putting up the metrolibrary.org link. Before the update it was very hard to find the locations of all the branches. I had given up trying...so I would go back to the old intranet in order to locate a particular branch location while assisting a customer on the phone.
