Review of Alignment Project Committee Workplan/ Schedule
The Committee completed the Project Work Plan for the Alignment, which includes a list of deliverables and an estimated start and completion date for each task. The Project Work Plan will be uploaded to the Intranet on March 10 and will be updated regularly as we move through the project.

Review of Alignment Project Committee Workplan/ Schedule The Committee reviewed the Alignment Project schedule which includes major tasks and the individual steps required for completion. For tasks that are still active the Committee reviewed the start and end dates and identified the individuals with primary responsibility for ensuring completion. The workplan will be posted to the intranet by Wednesday, March 8th. It will be reviewed at each weekly meeting and updated (with new tasks or revised dates/responsibilities) as needed.

Workgroup Assignments The Committee along with guest Melody Kellogg and Ashley Welke (who along with Chris Stofle will lead the workgroups) narrowed the list of workgroup participants to five per group. In all, more than forty individuals self-nominated to be part of a workgroup. The final list was as follows:

The Committeen reviewed the draft job descriptions and made changes. While the Committee agreed that they would like to open all workgroups up for nomination (and self-nomination), the Job Description workgroup has too tight a time frame to do so. Instead, the Committee identified a small workgroup that will be asked to review all of the job descriptions and provide input within the next week. Michele will contact the individuals directly. The Committee will review the recommendations of the workgroup at its next meeting.

The committee discussed the major milestones of the project and reviewed the specific activities under each. The group added a few new milestones and outlined additional tasks to be completed as part of the project. After agreeing on the overall list, the committee discussed the schedule of activity due dates. Committee members will submit their notes and prospective changes to Michele Gorman by Monday (2/20), and she will post a tentative schedule within the next week.

The Alignment Committee met on Friday, February 3rd. The group primarily discussed the scope of the project and set a preliminary target date for completion of June 30, 2017. When the scheduled is better fleshed out, more detail about specific activities and their due dates will be released. The attached notes provide slightly more detail of the meeting's discussion.
