Review of Alignment Project Committee Workplan/ Schedule
The Committee reviewed the Alignment Project schedule which includes major tasks and the individual steps required for completion.  For tasks that are still active the Committee reviewed the start and end dates and identified the individuals with primary responsibility for ensuring completion.  The workplan will be posted to the intranet by Wednesday, March 8th.  It will be reviewed at each weekly meeting and updated (with new tasks or revised dates/responsibilities) as needed.
 
Position Mapping Preference Form
The Committee reviewed a draft of the Mapping Preference Form which will be posted to the intranet later this week.  The form will provide staff whose current position will have at least two mapping options to indicate their ranked preferences.  Library administration will use these preferences to make the initial mapping decisions.  Email will be sent to all public service staff later this week inviting them to submit their preferences.  Staff whose positions have not mapping options (where their current positions map directly to one aligned position) will be sent a link that asks them to acknowledge that they saw the information.  The emails will be sent in the next two days.
 
Alignment Project Comments
The Committee agreed that it would be best if all Alignment Project questions, comments, and answers were in one place.  Therefore, the comments under the Workgroup Page will be turned off and offer a statement asking staff to post their comments and questions on the main Alignment Project Forum page.
 
Position Mapping Clarification
The Committee clarified that the Lead Librarian position will map to Access Services Manager II and not Access Services Manager III, as previously discussed.
