    Unusual incidents involving library customer violations of policy AL 320 Rules of Conduct should be handled according to the procedures outlined in AL 320.1 Responding to Disruptive Conduct.

This policy ensures that library staff members on duty handle emergencies with primary concern for the safety of library customers and staff and with a minimum amount of disruption or damage to the library's public image.

Automated Notification System Contact Information

Our automated notification system has a self-update/self-add portal.  Staff can manage their notification preferences at anytime.

Note:  If this is your first time to visit the site you will need to sign up for an account. You will only need to create this account once. New employees or new to the notification system?  Specific steps have been outlined for you below as well.  Here are the steps:

If you are new or need to update your contact information for our Automated Notification System, we will be updating this information on a regular basis following GOAL (New Employee Orientation). GOAL is held bi-weekly on the Monday of the new pay period. All updates must be in by that Monday or will be updated after the next GOAL.

Automated Emergency Calling System

For any future emergency library closure, MLS will use an automated notification system that will alert staff via their choice of communication: text, phone, email.  To expedite the behind the scenes needs to implement this, we need for each employee to complete the form located below today.
