Automated Emergency Calling System

*******This is an important announcement. Text users, please read text section below.*******
For any future emergency library closure, MLS will use an automated notification system that will alert staff via their choice of communication: text, phone, email. To expedite the behind the scenes needs to implement this, we need for each employee to complete the form located below today.
If you have not received a notification of an emergency closure and you wonder if we are going to be closed, please check our website http://www.metrolibrary.org/ or our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/metrolibrary. Both of these sites are updated as quickly as possible once a decision is made regarding any closure.
Supervisors: For any employee unable to complete the form today, please complete it for them and ensure they know the new process.
This is critical for employees to understand that all future notifications of an emergency library closure will be handled through an automated process.
Text Users
For individuals who selected the Text option. Due to changes in FCC regulations, users must opt into receiving text messages from our automated system. To opt in, please text the word ALERT to 22300. We encourage everyone who uses the Text option to add the 22300 number to their phone's contact lis or address book. Note: If you have already opted in with another company to the 22300 number, that's okay! It just means you've already authorized our vendor to send you text messages.
Phone Calls
For individuals who selected the Phone Call option. All calls will come from the Human Resources main line number: 405-606-3739. Please add this number to your phone's contact list or address book.
