Preparing for Our Wild Summer of Reading

As we near the start of our 2019 Summer Reading Program, EPS and this year’s Summer Reading Subcommittees have you covered when it comes to resources and information that will help to make Summer Reading at your library a wild success!
Make sure to check out the SR Intranet page for:
- The History of our Summer Reading Program

- A Community & School Engagement Toolkit
- Downloads Galore!
- An In-Library Engagement Toolkit
- A Summer Reading Volunteer Toolkit
- Teen Volunteer Supervisors, make sure to check out the recently added Activity Log for Volunteers.
- This will help volunteers across the system check off specific training, duties, and opportunities during their experience with us this summer. This list is available only to teens and will not award points. Teen volunteers who complete all the activities can earn a digital Wild About Reading volunteer badge.

If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to share them with any member of EPS. If there is something you need, but don’t have access to the resource(s) or information, let us know that too. We are here to help!
Stay tuned next week for our first Wild Tip of the Week! And don’t forget that Summer Reading pre-registration is now OPEN (as of May 15), so make sure to spread the word and start enrolling customers today for our June 1 kick-off!
