Maurice Sendak Exhibit

The Maurice Sendak Exhibit will be on display at the Downtown Library from June 15-July 9. This exhibit is free and open to the public all hours the library is open, and contains 50 original paintings and illustrations by beloved children's author Maurice Sendak in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Where the Wild Things Are. Our Summer Reading theme, Wild About Reading, is based on this celebration!
For more information about this special exhibition make sure to checkout the Maurice Sendak Exhibition Brochure created by the In-Library Engagement Summer Reading Subcommitee, available on our SR Downloads page.
