Let’s explore an enticing tale of the Summer Reading Program at our libraries. Tales that feature babies and toddlers learning new words and motor skills because a loved one takes the time to snuggle, read, and play with them. Tales that illustrate children advancing their literacy skills by reading and doing activities with their families all summer long. Tales that showcase teens feeling empowered and encouraged to read instead of searching and playing on the web. Tales that present adults exploring new and exciting worlds just by flipping the page. Tales that advertise people of all ages learning new skills and gaining confidence as they encounter more advanced texts and resources through their local libraries.
