Rodger Harris, from the Oklahoma History Center gave a presentation on the Folklife program that they are offering free of charge at all libraries in the state. He showed 10‐15min. of a dvd called “Old Ways” which chronicles life in early Oklahoma. Alicia Haris gave a flamenco dancing demonstration. They will send a program person to show the dvd and a presenter to give a demonstration to 6 libraries in MLS. Choices are Flamenco, Hispanic, Traditional Fiddle music. A question and answer period will follow the demonstration. Contact Anita if you are interested and she’ll get the list to Rodger.
The Our World series featuring the Australian story‐tellers was In March Leon Chavis and his son will perform Zydeco music.
Marilyn Bachus –encouraged librarians to use price guides and continuations to the ustomers greatest benefit. Ones on the shelves may be out‐dated. Current information can be located on the internet sites. SBA/SCORE program Be Your Own Boss/Build Your Own Business was also very ell received and another series well be set up for Feb‐Mar.

Choctaw had an Alzheimer's/Caregivers Workshop presented by Sunbeam Family Services.
DN - Darlene has Spiritful Voices scheduled for Dec., a seasonal concert tribute to Glen Burley, 2009 Harlem Renaissance in partnership with the museum.
DN - Harry is having the 2nd Annual 2-Day Asian Festival at DN Library in Feb. with a large variety of activities included.
CT - Driver's Safety 3 times a year, Wayne McEvilly concert, genealogy in the spring, Irish Scottish piper cultural and inter-generational events. Randy Grady is coming.
BI - On-going ESL classes in partnership with OKCPS, Barbara did a re-enactment of a 1900's woman from Guthrie, Jim Garling and Prairie Moon gave a concert, Bruce Caear is doing a jewelry workshp in Nov. and Horseshoe Road is playing in Dec.
ED - Eleanor & Franklin Roosevelt visited (Irma Stewart and Dr. Gary Gray), a quilts program with Judy Howard, Alz. program, AARP driving program, and GED, ESL with OCCC.
VI - Reading group read The Secret Life of Bees and enjoyed it. SBA/SCORE was a succesful program; also Alzheimer's presentation.
SO - candlemaking workshop, SCORE guy comes twice a month for 1 on 1 help, BYOB program well attended; driving classes; health screenings, defensive driving, Book Club, Alzheimer program, GED classes ful.
WA - Coffee break with the WII, Nutrition for a healthy brain; Wayne McEvilly; BYOB; Organization Program; driving classes, ESL from OCCC; essay and Art contest for Big Read. Edgar Cruz holiday concert;
BE - Big Read program was a disaster-it was on during the Vice Presidental debate; SBA/SCORE went well, soap making, Merry Sisters band in Dec., 3rd Friday; Games-Tea-Coffee-Snacks monthly.
Gary Howe presented his program about Edgar A. Guest, poet to offer to libraries with no fee.
