Procedure Update - SH 110.2 Compensation Plan (Revised 09/23)

You may have noticed a new starting pay rate in HUM's recent recruitment announcements for Access Specialists. In May, Administration recommended increasing the minimum pay for salary grade 31 positions from $13.46 per hour to $14.13 per hour. This change was approved as part of the final budget and went into effect on October 2. Current salary grade 31 employees below the updated minimum will receive the new rate in their October 19 paychecks. The updated procedure, SH 110.2 Compensation Plan, is posted to the Stewardship of Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
Currently, Administration is working with NFP Consultants to review the Library's compensation program and associated philosophy, policies, and procedures. The results and recommendations from the project will be presented to the Administrative and Personnel committee of the Commission for consideration. Please continue to monitor the Intranet for updates.
