SO Closing for Parking Lot Resurfacing

Just to keep everyone up to date, the Southern Oaks Library will be closing on Wednesday to get the parking lot resurfaced. We anticipate the library re-opening on Monday, Nov. 25. The attached email will go out tonight to SO customers who have used the library in the past year.

PITS Upgrade

METROPITS is getting an upgrade! Beginning on November 21st, PITS will have a new look but will retain all the current functionality. The dashboard and navigation will all be vertical on the sides of the screen instead of across the top. Additionally, it will be easier to ‘add people’ to the incident reports. In the new version, selecting ‘add people’ will be at the beginning of the people workflow instead of needing to remember to click it at the end. Please see the attached slides for a sneak peek at what the new site will look like.

Operations Town Hall Meeting

Reminder: the Friends of the Library want to give to you!

The third and final round of the fiscal year 2020 Friends' Grant Applications will close on January 1st. As a reminder, the Friends have budgeted and pre-approved funds to support the Metropolitan Library System throughout the year. They currently have $65,000 they would like to award MLS before June 30, 2020 - but they need your help. Help them, help you, help our customers!
