Lead a breakout session at Staff Development Day 2024!
This year's theme, "Community Connections Through Technology," is all about exploring how we leverage various technology to strengthen our bonds with the communities we serve. And who better to lead the charge than our very own employees?
Attached is the new and improved "COM"unity Board from your Communications Department! May is an exciting month with lots of programs and, of course, the grand opening of Almonte Library May 15th! We are also gearing up for Summer Reading, which will be here before we know it.

Hello Everyone,
Based on the February 2024 Usability Testing and other feedback, the following changes will be made to Aspen on Wednesday, May 8th:
1. The due date will display for items checked out.
2. Add “Special Collections at Downtown Library” to the “Library Hours and Locations” list.
3. Add a placard for Special Collections / Oklahoma Room. (If someone searches for either, a message will display to give information with a link to their landing page).

Hello,
Collection Development has decided to discontinue Metro's subscription to the database Social Explorer. This decision was made after careful consideration of the dwindling usage, and the subsequent rise in cost per user for this resource. Beginning immediately, guests and staff will not be able to find this resource on Metro's website. Please feel free to send me any questions you may have. Thank you.
