The Summer Reading In-Library Engagement Subcommittee has developed a toolkit to provide help when creating displays, providing passive programs, promoting Summer Reading, and more! Please use the contents of this toolkit as you begin and continue to plan for this summer’s theme, Wild About Reading!
Here is what you can expect to find in the In-Library Engagement Toolkit, which can be found on the SR Intranet Site by visiting the Downloads page or the In-Library Engagement page:
- In-Library Engagement Tips
- 2019 SR Wild About Reading Highlights, Conversation Starters, and Talking Points
- Maurice Sendak Exhibit
- Beanstack App
- Individual Library Goals
- Display Ideas
- In-Library Decor Printables
- In-Library Decor Starter Kit Information
- In-Library Decor Supplies Available to Order
- Passive Programming Ideas
- Storytime Extension Activity Ideas
If you have any questions about this toolkit, please reach out to any member of the In-Library Engagement Subcommittee: Sadie Bruce, Natalie Currie, Reagan Kloiber, Beth Loecke, Abigail Stout, and Kristin Williamson.
Please note the following:
- Starter Kits were sent out to all libraries by the In-Library Engagement Subcommittee last week.
- There are some missing links in the toolkit; as soon as they are available an updated toolkit will be added to the SR Intranet site.
