Library Cards on Beanstack

Currently, the same library card number cannot be entered for more than one reader in Beanstack (e.g. An adult entering his/her card number for a child they have registered). We are working on steps right now to help address our member’s concerns with library cards on accounts. When conducting prize drawings, one of the first things the staff at the locations will test is the library card on the account creator profile. The drawing information identifies both the drawing winner and the individual who manages that account. Staff will look at the account creator first before we look at the reader’s profile. If the library card is valid on the account creator, we would honor any drawing gifts won to those under that main account.
