Report Scenarios

Automation of the collection of statistics is one of the goals of the summer reading program.  Reports are a useful tool in understanding who is participating in summer reading at your library location and at other libraries across the system.  To give you an understanding of how the report process works in Summer Reader, please complete the following activities:
 

Test Your Knowledge:

1. Visit http://metrolibrarysr.evanced.info/pwlogin.asp and login with the demo administrative account
   • Username:  staff
   • Password: library
2. Select REPORTS from the menu bar.
3. Practice generating the following reports using the report builder screen and format your reports using the Excel option.
   
   1. Duplicate Library Cards (NOTE: does not require the Excel option- will display on-screen)
   2. Individuals Registration Report
   3. Log Totals Report
   4. Program Totals Report
   5. Registration Totals Report
   6. Review Totals Report
4. Play around with the various filters available to customize your reports.  Think about how you would use this information to benefit your library location and the system as a whole.

NOTE:  Only MLS staff should be utilizing the report function.
