Did you know that we currently have a database that can help you and customers learn more about books in a fiction or nonfiction series? On the Readers Advisory tab on our Databases page, click on Novelist Plus. After you conduct a search using a title, author, series, or keyword, you'll see search results similar to the following screenshot and by clicking on the Series link, you can display all of the titles in a particular series:

On Wednesday, April 23, Ebscohost will host a free, 30-minute webinar that will focus solely on the type of series information that can be found in NoveList and how to search for it.

And when we roll out TLC later this year, the ability to see all of the titles in a series should be built into our catalog. Watch the following video from the Los Angeles Public Library, a TLC user, to see what I mean:

While this exact feature may not be in our installation of TLC, we should have something comparable. So give NoveList Plus a look to explore not only these great features, but also its others such as title, author and series read-alikes, book discussion guides, and readers' advisory tools.

series info. in NoveList

I have used the series info. in NoveList to print the order of a series for our customers.
You can print by "title only" to conserve paper. I also enjoy the feature that lists various
series by an author, like Debbie Macomber. The series read-alikes are handy because they tell why another series might appeal to the reader.

We really like to use Fantasticfiction.co.uk for finding series titles in case anyone hasn't tried it yet. It is quick and easy to use and up to date. Christine
