Winter Reading: Book Bingo discussion
-
Heidi - Sort Site volunteers have been unable to sort books right now and they formed a book club during the Winter Reading Challenge. They also did a weekly coffee break where they shared what they were reading and showed off their mugs.
-
Tulin – Everyone loved the mugs, thought they were cute. Everything went smoothly.
-
Beth – Surprised by how many people went for the blackout. People loved the mugs. Participation at the CLs seemed to be up.
-
Danielle – Everyone loved the mugs and it seemed like participation was way up from last year. Some people asked if we will do this again.
-
Adrien – The cuteness of the mugs were a big draw for people.
-
Jessica M. – Has 3 mugs left, which is a good indication of how well things went. Emily offered to help people run reports.
-
Cameron – One customer asked that we do mugs again next year with a different mug.
-
Shalla - Every customer love the mugs. Many were confused that the prizes were only for adults and not children and teens.
-
Kelley - Received almost 20 cards so far. Onsite Libraries need to start promoting earlier.
-
Andrew - We need to update the Spanish title of the bingo cards. It says libro de bingo, which means book of the bingo. Spanish speaking customers were appreciative to have a translated card.
