Weekly Beanstack Tip #2: Secret Codes

In Beanstack, entering secret codes is one way to earn badges. The Weekly Drawings list posted on the Intranet shows which weeks' drawings are based on these secret code badges.

Here's how week 1's drawing will work: A pad of code slips has been routed to each library. Whenever a member (of any age) gets a new library card during June 1-12, your staff can give them one of these slips. They include a special Summer Reading code and directions on how to apply that code to earn the GOT A LIBRARY CARD badge in Beanstack. Any member is eligible to receive this special badge.

Week 1's drawing will be held on June 13 for adults who have earned this badge. The drawing is for a 2016 Keep it Local card, and the drawing is set up to pull winners just from the pool of adults who have earned this badge.

If you run out of code slips during this time, the document will be available under Downloads on the Summer Reading intranet so you can print more.
