Weekly Beanstack Tip #1 - Logged Time (Cumulative vs Current Program)

When you first log in to Beanstack, you’ll notice a figure for all of your time logged from past and current programs. To see information on this year’s program, visit your current programs (2017 Summer Reading program) and you will see just this summer's logged time. A training video has been created so you can make sure your staff, and teen volunteers all know how this works.

Beanstack is a reading management system, so this means we will not purge the data at the end of Summer Reading. Our goal is to use Beanstack year round-- and we already have fun plans to use it with 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and Teen Read Month for this fall! We want to make sure people's reading logs and achievements can build in their accounts and that they can see a cumulative figure, and we want the ability to gauge engagement from year to year.
