EPS has two Summer Reading toolkits to share with you!

Community & School Engagement Toolkit

The Summer Reading School & Community Outreach Subcommittee has developed a toolkit to provide help in communicating with schools and community entities on the importance of Summer Reading.

Please use the contents of this toolkit as you begin to develop and implement your local outreach plan for Summer Reading 2020. The Community & School Engagement Toolkit contains best practices, templates, scripts, social media messaging, downloadables, and more! A timeline of important dates and activities/tasks to keep in mind can be found on page 4 of the toolkit. As you will see on the timeline, this year's Library Media Specialist School Breakfast will be held on May 1 at the Bethany Library; more information about attending and assisting with this event will be shared soon!

If you have any questions about the contents of this toolkit, please reach out to any member of the School & Community Outreach Subcommittee; team names can be found on page 1 of the toolkit. This toolkit has been added to our SR Intranet Page, which will fully launch late March/early April.

In-Library Engagement Toolkit

The Summer Reading In-Library Engagement Subcommittee has developed a toolkit to provide help when creating displays, providing passive programs, promoting Summer Reading, and more! Please use the contents of this toolkit as you begin and continue to plan for this summer’s theme, Imagine Your Story.

As a reminder, if you ordered display supplies, EPS will be routing them to you in April

If you have any questions about this toolkit, please reach out to any member of the In-Library Engagement Subcommittee; team names can be found on page 1 of the toolkit. This toolkit has been added to our SR Intranet Page, which will fully launch late March/early April.
