Why

  • The purpose of online Summer Reading training is to provide the necessary tools and information to staff to help customers, and ultimately, reach our Summer Reading goals.
  • In order to receive state funding (under Title 405. Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Chapter 25. State Aid Grants to Public Libraries), all staff must complete one continuing education credit a year that is not safety training. Metro uses Summer Reading training to fulfill that requirement.

When & Where

  • On April 1 all staff will receive notice from EduBrite that they can begin their online Summer Reading training.
  • Online training for all staff must be completed by April 30.

If you have questions about any aspect of Summer Reading training, please contact EPS ([email protected]) or reach out to any EPS staff member directly. Also, make sure to refer to the resources on the Summer Reading Intranet Page for helpful information. The Summer Reading Intranet Page will go live on Thursday, April 1.

Thank you for all that you do to make Summer Reading successful every year! You are all greatly appreciated!
