Thank you again for a successful Summer Reading 2024! As we close the chapter on last summer, we are already looking ahead to start work on planning for Summer Reading 2025. To help us accomplish our goal of creating a community of readers and library users, we need your help. The team that plans our Summer Reading program changes every year, with leadership from Outreach & Engagement Services. OES has 5 Summer Reading subcommittees with 15 vacancies for the upcoming year. Listed below are the SR subcommittees, their duties, and the openings for your participation:

Applications are due by September 23 and require supervisor approval. Both returning and new members are welcome to apply. All applicants will be notified via email of the status of their application the week of September 30. A brief training for subcommittee leads will occur the week of October 7. The first Summer Reading Committee meeting will be on Tuesday, October 15 from 2:30-4pm.
